Unlocking the Power of Generosity: My Journey with 'The God Pocket'

As I sat down to finish reading 'The God Pocket' by Bruce Wilkinson during a trip to Salt Lake City, I was deeply moved by its message. The book's principles resonated with me on a profound level, and I felt compelled to put its teachings into practice. At the time, I was determined to be obedient to whatever need God presented, and I decided to use my credit card as a tool to meet those needs.

The idea of setting aside a sum of money as encouraged in the book didn't sit well with me. Instead, I chose to trust that everything belongs to God, and that He would provide for any needs that arose. This mindset shift allowed me to approach generosity with a sense of freedom and faith.

Fast forward several years, and our organization has launched a new set of resources built around the principles contained in 'The God Pocket'. These resources aim to empower individuals to live out their faith by practicing generosity and trusting in God's provision. Through this journey, I've come to realize that being a good steward of my finances is not just about setting aside money, but also about being open to God's guidance and direction.
